I'm literally tearing remembering the memories of when I use to rewatch this movie multiple times when it came out I still remember all the songs

For a disney musical song, it actually has a real world message in it.
Yes, it does speak about celebrating differences rather than masking them, or worse, outcasting them. However, one thing I have thought of is how would someone who is actually part of a minority react to this? As a white male, I probably watch this film in a very different way to how someone who isn't in the majority might watch it. I watch it and learn about myself, and feel ashamed of how I've subconsciously behaved, so it has the desired effect. But would someone in a minority group see it that way? Or would they see it as insensitive and offensive? I don't know...

This song is so very romantic, and also funny and humorous at the same time. All the little funny details like the “delicious, a mean gorgeous” joke, or the time where he sings “caught my eye” and literally throws an “eye” for her to catch… It’s so sweet)❤️
