John Williams Composed with Fear, Ludwig Göransson intends to compose with Respect.
lol jk.
Seriously John Williams is THE Legend and legacy of Star Wars Music but Ludwig Göransson brought a new and unqiue sound to Star Wars...
Absolute Legends.
this is the way.
Williams is the Master
Goransson is the Apprentice
ur job is amazing too, man
@robert wallace rogue 1 has an amazing soundtrack.
what about kevin kiner?
"If you refuse these terms, the arid sands of Tatooine will once again flourish with flowered fields fertilized by the bodies of your dead."
Poetry.
@greycompanion you ruin it.
One of the very few gems in this boring Dune Sea of a series.
empty words coming from him
This is the way.
I’m 99% sure that’s not how sand works, but ok.
Finding out the theme actually incorporated "BOBA FETT" in the theme after Chapter 7 made me appreciate this a billion times more. Genius.
@MKR -3103 lol you and I have a very different view on making history
@Spodo bbb ay! Disney setting stones in history! Preps to them.
@MKR -3103 yea I know I didnt think disney could do it but they figured out a way lol
@Spodo bbb hmm, quite odd that a sexual orientation has a sound...
@MKR -3103 it sounds like boba boba fett
After the finale hearing the lyrics changed to “Fett! Fett! Boba Fett!” Feels amazing
It was really cool
@watchingrob it was stupid lol
YES! glad someone else heard that too! lol
Yeah man, they shouldve used that version the whole season. Makes me like the song twice as much
Jango fett would be proud
I’m gonna say it. This show was actually pretty damn good
Did we watch the same show?
I going to say it. I agree
Nah
@i4got872 YTP After further thought, I may have been quick to make a comment like that without basis other than BOBF's quality and Mando's inclusion, but it's not a ridiculous hypothesis judging by aforementioned quality.
@Miriam Dekeon This statement proves you haven't done any substantial research on them in the slightest before forming an opinion about their work.
If Boba Fett and Mandalorian had such great themes
Imagine what we will get from the Kenobi series
I wonder what theme song andor will have either.
Maybe a new version of Duel of Fates?
A blend between Dual of Fates and battle of the heros i suppose like what they did with the first teaser trailer.
...The typical star wars themes... Nothing new, sry..
definitely
This theme really hits different after you've watched the finale.
The way it hits at the end is siiiccckk 🔥
bo bo bo ba ba fett!
The Tusken became one of the most respected species in this universe. they are doing a great job with these series
For once you grew to respect them and not see them as monsters
@nick smith it's just what happens when you have a very vast story universe. There's so much stories to be told in a much more personal level
It's sad when these series are better then the actual movies they need to stick with doing shows.
@DredgenWar237 Okay
@MrRidiculous Yeah, just thought the dichotomy was funny.
“I’m just a simple man making his way through the galaxy. Like my father before me.”
@Peve
"Long time ago, in galaxy far, far away...🌌:
Jabba once *ruled the galaxy with fear* . But I, *Boba Fett* , intends to rule it with *an utmost respect* ..."
@Peve
Yo, that two words alone sounds hillarious right...😁
Because, Boba Fett just wanted to open-up a *bantha ranch on the deserts of Tatooine* right now...🐂🐄🏜️
Like a bantha
But when will Ronia, the Robber's Daughter finally appear in the series?
Disney, please keep using Goransson for your projects. This guy is amazing.
He did the music for Turning Red
Yea
This is the way.
It sucks. It’s goofy and different in an unpleasant way. Sounds like some guys trying to be annoying or stupid. Or something you would see blue man group doing if they spoke. Not cool or raw or anything. Doesn’t sound tribal. Just dumb. The melody is okay, but also not memorable.
He just did turning red!!!!
Ludwig Göransson and Michael Giacchino reprise the next great generation of movie score composers.
As much as we love John Williams, we have to acknowledge the fact that he is 90 years old.
It is true that he will write the score for the Kenobi series, but it may be his last work.
The torch needs to be passed on sooner or later. I'm glad it is passed to these lads.
Major Ronja Rövardotter-vibes! Nice to hear Göransson page homage to such amazing music from almost every swedes childhood!
Had to scroll a while to find a comment pointing this out, but here it is! 😉 My thoughts exactly!
Exactly! Such a fitting theme and so nostalgic as well.
when i hear this melody i feel my skin shivers. In addition to the series, which despite its 7 chapters, teaches us to be honorable, simple and always do good for others.
This is the way
I miss watching the book of boba fett every Wednesday 😩
@Alex Gaming same I really want a season 2 I miss watching boba fett especially that he’s my favorite Star Wars character 😫😫
Same 😔, I really want a S2 of the show at this point
At least I have MK now… I would still be in a state of depression if it weren’t for MK.
@Rebelorian yesss I really do
me to
My favorite thing about Göransson's score for The Mandalorian was how it sounded entirely unique from all other Star Wars music while still being iconic, and this theme completely continues that trend in the best way.
Makes me think what the Kenobi series theme will be like.
My guess is eunique and epic in its own way
I love the vocals in this track. I had never consumed any star wars media until watching the mandalorian a year or so ago, so i do not know how, but the tracks do sound somewhat distinctly star wars - even to me. I guess that just means they fit the world amazingly well
Star Wars needed NEW Things, but Good ones
He ain't Williams that's why
@House Dimitrescu John Williams is actually doing it
Lmao who else came here thinking they were crazy when they heard Boba Fett's name in the finale?
Meeee, shit I belived I was going mad ahahaha
LMFAO yo, I thought I was the ONLY one!! I think that's only in the finale tho😂
This theme is absolutely perfect, even better than the mandalorian's one. It's out of the crowd, beautiful.
This is music that I could listen to all day, and still not get sick of it.
Same. Ive been been repeatedly playing this nonstop.
I couldn't wholeheartedly agree man, this is exactly how I feel! You took the thoughts and words right out of my head and mouth lol.
This perfectly fits Boba Fett and the environment in the show
Ludwig Göransson in 2019: *Writes an epic theme for a Star Wars show*
Ludwig Göransson in 2021: Wanna see me do it again?
@Magnus Tonitrum
A
@Sparrow Astrid Lindgren kids music. LOL
ruins everything.
@JP jay that is your opinion, and your opinion is wrong
and he failed!
(annoying Nordic Folk music)
ruins the theme.
What a time to be alive! To hear a rendition of a song from Ronja the robbers daughter by Astrid Lindgren in a star wars series. Madness.
Just watched the finale, and the whole season was a 9.5/10 for me. "I have spoken"- Kuiil
@Larry Poppins Yes he was. Gone but not forgotten
Rest in peace to kuill by the way. He was a real one.
How every episode rolls into this really adds to the entire episode. I especially loved it on episode 2 after the ceremony with Boba!
Say whatever you want about the show, the music slaps.
It is a good show
All Hail Ludwig!
If a musical arrangement was written by a guy named Ludwig, you know it's a masterpiece.
I'm now imagining Ludwig von koopa shredding it on a guitar
And if a dude named Mrqwerty2109 starts commenting shit on RU-clip, you know damn well this dude is spitting facts
Haha yeah
@Webzter Lastly, Ludwig the Accursed from Bloodborne.
@Rahadian Aryo Ludwig Koopa is based off Beethoven.
Did anyone else notice how the lyrics of this score changed from "da dum da dum" to "Bo - ba, bo - ba, FETT" in the last episode of the first season??
Es espectacular! Siempre la escucho hasta el final! Es la única serie que escucho Hasta el final.
Give or take what you like or not about the series, having Boba be this respected lord on Tatooine while also being a skilled killer at the same time is badass as hell.
I love this Series I cant wait for Season 2 and i cant wait for Mandalorian Season 3.
"May the Force Be with you" 1977-1983
"hello there" 2005-2022
"This Is the Way" 2019-2020
"Like a Bantha" 2021-2022
@Caleb Berman yeah cool, but nobody cares, this is a star wars video
@scotty Dunham no
Impossible. Perhaps the archive are incomplete.
You forgot "I have the high ground!"
@Stormtrooper Fun no
And moving in the final of 7th to chorus Fett, Boba Boba Fett! Wonderfully designed!
There's something about this theme that hypes me up alot whenever I hear it in the episodes
Cada vez que lo oigo me suena más épico , va derechito a mi play list . Star Wars es maravillosa cuando es hecha con el corazón . Este tema debe ser increíble en un concierto filarmónico
This show may have had some rocky things going on, but Ludwig's take on the main theme ESPECIALLY chapter 7's end credits will forever be *wizard*
Não canso de compartilhar essa trilha.
Ela passa a sensação de ser algo de tribo, passa mais a frente a sensação de jornada, descoberta.
This theme is so great can't seem to get tired of it anytime soon
This theme absolutely slaps. When that beat drops, it genuinely feels just like the old beats Göransson used to produce for Childish Gambino. It's almost trap-inspired with the hi-hat drums.
Despite my many issues with this season, the cast and soundtrack were fantastic
Tribal-Medieval-Western-epic vibe...Göransson is a genius.
The Anything Channel sampling is literally a common practice in musical composition
@Cringinator4000 Kinda becuse it is
It sounds Scandinavian to me, almost like Vikings
@The Worst Yotube Channel I wouldn’t say stolen, more like heavily inspired by.
whats western about it?
This song actually gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it fr
Ludwig, all I can say is thank you for making this masterpiece
1:15 this part always gives me the chills 👏👏👏 🎶
My favorite part of this theme is how when the Mandalorian’s theme is used, it’s also super distinct so you know exactly who the theme is for. Such a fantastic composition. Both of em.
There is something about this theme that’s so nostalgic, it’s like hearing the return of a legend after 40+ years
The music is heavily inspired by the music from a Swedish movie that is about 40 years old. The movie is called “Ronja rövardotter”
@Taikage I love this series Boba's is the only good thing about Star Wars now cause everyone else we knew and loved is dead and replaced with a bunch of dumb poorly and shitty written characters that Scavenger Rat who's literally the spawn of Satan.
I’ve uploaded a Boba Fett Episode 1 & 2 Review & it would be cool if other huge Star Wars fans could give their opinion on the episodes and tell me why they agree or disagree with my opinion on the series so far. Would be great to discuss the series & hear different opinions! 💯 Thanks for your time if you choose to do so! 🤘🏽!
The book of boba fett is perfect
Woooow!! You can hear that it was totally his inspiration!
Man I loved this show.
As good as The Mandalorian theme.
Glad we're finally getting some good Star Wars music again. The sequel trilogy had no memorable new themes.
This and Mando's theme are both great
0:56 - 1:08 This makes me so emotional and I don't even know why, but it's probably just that beautiful minor melodic shift. Gets me in the feels man.
When I heard this begin to play I knew Ludwig just made another masterpiece of a score
Facts!
@Filippp K dude that was the first thing I thought of when I heard this. I loved that movie (and book) as a kid
@bob frode think again. Look Ronja Rövardotter
@Filippp K "RONJA-Robbers Daughter" by Astrid Lindgren
But he did not make this himself. This is a plagiarism from a swedish kids movie.
This theme fits perfectly with the character and the setting of tatooine
I am the only one who likes this one better then the Mandalorian Theme?
Not at all, even if the mandalorian show was better this theme wins
Just watched the finale. This will now always be one of my favourite TV shows of all time. BOBA FETT FOR LIFE!
1:15 That is such an Ennio Morricone part, I love it.
He protects tuskens
He attacks rival cartels
But most importantly
He rides like a bantha
@Юридический факт ok thats void
🤦♂️
Yes?
Krayt Dragon will be the next thing he rides
It’s amazing that this guy escaped the sarlacc pit, killed cad bane, and took over jabba’s throne.
In the final credits of Episode 7, you finally hear Fett, Boba Fett in the background ... Super thoughtful and done! Keep it up !
I love how the season finale theme changed from an instrumental to a song with lyrics to represent a chant. It's as if to symbolise BF's mission is done and is now the boss with people cheering his name.
🎵Boba Boba Boba Fett🎵
This theme is fire. One of my favorite star wars themes
This is not a suitable theme for Boba in the original trilogy, but the perfect one for the Boba we see now. And I absolutely love it!
The one from mandalorian season 2 was perfect for OG boba and this one is perfect for the boba of now
A suitable theme for the old boba fett would be the brown note.
@Blandeu damn bro hindsight is 20/20 but you got at least 16/20 foresight with that grogu call
@LOCKE- BAES, BRYAN M. I just think, no matter how good and subtle the connections are, the actual movies are shit.
@Hete McGun eh, I guess time will tell. But for now, I feel like that's whats gonna happen.
Those snoke-like clones we saw in mando s2, the previous references to canto bight and even the fathiers recently, hell the fact that 2/3 of the live-action/animated series on D+ has cloning involved, it's just too hard to ignore. If I remember correctly, it was already mentioned that the Mandalorian was gonna explore the rise of the first order before it even premiered (however maybe things changed?)
There's still a 25 year time gap for new stories to tell tho, so maybe the connections are gonna be small and subtle for now.
Felicidades por este tema Ludwig Göransson.
Gracias a la serie he podido descubrirlo, es una maravilla.
Mil gracias por deleitarnos con tan fantástica música. No dejéis de componer 💝
Un abrazo.
I love how the end credits song at the beginning of the series don’t say boba Fetts name but after the finale the entire song is just dedicated to boba Fett
I didn’t expect Boba to spend so much time with the Tusken Raiders. I think they definitely rubbed off on him and changed his outlook. We got a pretty cool exploration of Tusken culture as well which I highly appreciated
1:31 onwards... actually feels as though you're trekking through the desert on a bantha, a hood drawn over your head to cover your eyes from Tatooine's harsh sunlight.
1:48: coming to a stop on a large sand dune, looking out over the vast Dune Sea, knowing many dangers lurk on the journey.
2:27: trekking bravely ahead anyway, because danger will always be a part of the journey we call life.
This theme perfectly conveys Power, Strength and Courage. All the qualities of Boba Fett. And also honors Morrison's Maori culture by having a tribal feel.
@Venom Snake What about Boba's combat style??
>Maori
>Old swedish song
Well, you're not far off: it's a tribal swedish song
@Alexander nah sorry, as Māori I can't hear any resemblance to our music in here.
see also "Aroha fitness" ✊🤜
Morrison also honors his heritage with Boba's fighting style...
I really hope we will hear more of Göransson with the upcoming Kenobi series.
This show was an amazing experience, especially the last episode. I hope the Kenobi series releases asap 🙏
It was announced today it comes out may 25th.
Perfect theme about a simple man trying to make his way in the universe
This is amazing, I was completely mesmerized when I heard this for the first time, there is such an ancient iconic vibe to it. ❤️ I thought nothing could beat the theme from "The Mandalorian" but well, I was wrong!
Göransson is a legend. I can't remember the last time I got chills like this...
@Luke Skywalker Sir I think you experiencing what we call a stroak
@WaltzinBlack90 It's not from the mandaloren
@Parv Aggrawal I was about to say that
I can. The mandalorian
Mandalorian
I just love this theme as well, another great piece by Ludwig Göransson.
Ludwig out did himself with this one. I like this more than the Mandalorian theme!
You have to appreciate how the powers that be haven’t just tried to do a pale imitation of John Williams. I just love how fresh and new this guy’s music is to the franchise.
Fun fact: palpatine’s theme has vocals. He came back.
Darth Maul’s theme had vocals. He came back.
Boba Fett’s theme has vocals. He came back.
Also, all of them fell into a pit, apparently dying, just aparently...
@Ch4z_Bucks we sure do
Anakin's theme had vocals, and we all know the rumours about him coming back in kenobi as a hologram or a flashback.
Temuera must be so happy about this. He's always loved the character and has been engaged with the fan base. 💞💕
@Stormtrooper989 😂😂😂
It’s a trick, send no reply
@Axidic God damn clankers
@You don't know who i am This is getting out of hand! Now there are two of them!
So was Jeremy Bulloch, he will always be the Fett we knew before, may he Rest in Peace. Daniel is a great Boba too, the character is played by so many great people.
It's a great time to be a Star Wars, finally it's going right and we can forget the sequel trilogy ever happened!
Mesa no think thassa good idea. If wesa forgets mistakes of past-times. Best to remember them, okiday?
(But also I liked the sequels)
Based on this series it’s had to say that.
Honestly, and I'm not being disingenuous when I say this, this theme was the best part of the book of boba fett
Please give us the version from the finale, i love it just as much as this.
He’s so good. Love what he’s created for the Star Wars universe, amazing!
Another masterpiece by Ludwig Göransson. This guy's a genius. Black Panther, Mandalorian and now The Book of Boba Fett...
I had no idea about black panther I love this guy even more
And Venom
don't forget creed
An Tenet
@Martin André idk but you're probably right
Hearing this done by a full choir and orchestra is now a moral imperative and life goal.
This is so good. Even though I hear it every week watching the show it never fails to amp me up.
LOVE it
As Temuera Morrison playing Boba Fett and representing our country Aotearoa really means a lot to me and so others
Disney, please keep Ludwig. He fits perfectly to this new StarWars setting.
@Caleb Berman Bro, stop being a weirdo about it. Not everyone wants religious stuff in every comment section.
@Caleb Berman I respect your courage to spread your message of hope to others despite the aggressive responses. Those who put down your message while insulting your religion because they don't believe what you do are arrogant. If anything, you are being very caring by spreading what you believe will save them from an eternity of torment, and I find it very odd why people would insult you for that.
@Caleb Berman trhni si propagátore irelevance.
@Caleb Berman Amen
Man this is so good, listening to this after watching Chapter 7 hits different
I love how the rendition of it at the end of the show they're saying FETT. BOBA FETT
This series was top tier, hope for a season 2. 👌🏻
I like how the soundtrack changed with Ludwig. It captures the tribal life of Boba Fett, living and training with the Tuskens ;)
John Williams is incredible and im glad that Ludwig is also fantastic
That's awesome that in the finale they are actually yelling FETT!
Ennio Morricone..Basil Poledouris...Hans Zimmer....dare I say we are seeing the beginnings of a future legend such as those listed, in Ludwig Göransson?? Time will tell...but I do believe we are witnessing greatness unfolding..a new carrier of the torch that is passed on.
Amazing how John Williams is not mentioned here
This unbelievable. I knew it would be somewhere. I actually turn my TV up when the show is over. This is awesome!
Michael Giacchino and Ludwig Göransson, you deserve the future music of Star Wars. ❤
This is amazing, Ludwig Göransson fit in perfectly with these shows (mandalorian and Book of Boba), I'm looking forward to your next works with Star Wars!!!
“Jabba rules with fear, I rule with respect”
Hermosa canción, una obra maestra!!!
I don’t have words to describe how cool this sounds. It’s like if a crime boss movie and a western, along with a Viking had a child. It’s just so trippy and beautiful at the same time.
@Rahadian Aryo It isn't, read Gustav Lidenholm's answer above. The composer is Swedish and he basically lifted this from a song in a Swedish fantasy movie from 1984, in turn inspired by Georgian men's choirs.
@Rahadian Aryo good afternoon to you too, thanks for the clarification.
It's nice but it's not a Star Wars theme. There's no horn instruments used. Listen to KoTOR and Bounty Hunter theme. They're distinct but still have horn instruments predominantly.
@Kronos camron
Actually, it's *tribal New Zealand 🇳🇿/Māori* to be exactly.
Good Afternoon there, Kronos 🙂
So, Kronos. What are you been doing here today 😗?
it has a tribal vibe
I swear star wars scores never fails everytime. it's unforgettable
Such a strong opening, you could tell he knew that was important compared to the mandos more subtle opening to his them. Its fitting for such a grand character
