    Thanks for the tour of my neighborhood. Grew up on Dundee between Lakeview & Vernon. Went to “25s” (yes that’s how we said our school ) before Eastside. Great video but a look at the school and it’s setting on the hill would have been cool. Appreciate your series.

    For those who really remember this area, the furniture store at the foot of Lakeview Ave, was a Food Fair store, then became a Pantry Pride. This was in the 50's
    A lot of homes in this area started life in Clifton. They were moved here when the parkway was being built.

      Also some other homes were moved along Maryland Ave when route 80 cut through.

    Hi Freddy, Thank you for another great video. Your advice about not going over 25 MPH on that section of Lakeview should be heeded by everyone driving there. I know lots of folks who got speeding tickets there, including my own father!! I have friends and relatives buried in that cemetery. It used to be a very quiet and peaceful cemetery before route 80 was constructed. Thanks again, I always love your videos.

      Hi, I just watched the video again and it looks like the store called Lefty's is where Anjo's Pizza and Italian Restaurant used to be? Anjo's had the best pizza ever!! LOL!! thanks, Lizzy

    My mom and dad lived at the Loft Commons on Trenton until they retired and left N.J.
    I live in Alabama now but my heart will always be back in Paterson. Keep the videos coming , they are a treat from my younger days
