I’d be gutted if I got fined for jaywalking cause I’m from England where you just look both ways and cross when it’s safe to do so lol I’d completely forget about the jaywalking law and be jaywalking all over the place 🙈

I take umbrage to this list. I've never drank and drive, nor have i texted and driven nor have i ever smoked pot. I'm 52 years old and it's called self discipline. Most of the people i associate with haven't done it either. Epic fail watch mojo.

This is stupid. Very few men are crass enough to urinate in public. Not many people are stupid enough to text while driving. Who the hell knows that it is illegal to discard a former tenant's mail? It's the more innocuous acts that are the most common, but you've decided to rate the most serious acts, and so the acts least likely to be very common, as though people engaged in them casually.

  • luxor1001
    luxor1001 6 months ago

Jaywalking? Yes. Driving drunk? No-there are millions of people who don't drink at all, and millions more who drink but never drive while even the least bit drunk. Cut the bullshit. Neither do most people loiter or litter.

If a sitting President's dog drops a deuce on the White House lawn, I doubt that any "pooper scooper" laws apply. It is the President's home. The cops don't give a damn if YOUR dog craps in YOUR own lawn.

technically a cop can pull you over for going 1 mile over the speed limit, because technically you are speeding. but most give you a 5 mile leeway for things such as speedometer error and common courtesy. there arent many people that can do exactly the speed limit without a little over or a little under.
im sure ill catch hell for this but in my *opinion* we either need to raise the age a person can enlist in the military to 21 or lower the legal drinking age to 18. it just doesnt seem right to make sense to me that a person can be sent to war and die at 18, but can get arrested for trying to buy beer. it was the same for voting until they lowered the age from 21 to 18. the men and women in the military didnt like that they could die for their country but couldnt have a say in politics.

My rule of thumb with speeding - 1/5 faster than the posted limit. So in a 55, you can reasonably go 66 mph without (most) cops getting huffy with you. In a 15, you can only go about 18 or so before you're getting pinched for it.

I can't imagine that anyone DOESN'T toss out old tenant's mail. If they didn't care enough to change their address, it shouldn't be my problem to get it to them. I mean, if something looks important, I'll put forth the effort and at least contact them, but most of the time I just classify it as junk mail.

Downloading anything from the internet is technically illegal because it violates the digital millennium copyright act law and that can include downloading images from google as well and can also include downloading free software or free open source operating systems such as Linux so if you don't want to break the law just don't download anything from the internet also you can buy software that prevents you from downloading stuff from the internet and helps prevent people from using your computer for piracy blocking the ability to download stuff from the internet can combat piracy

Throwing things at people is dangerous and illegal and if you throw things at people you're committing not only assault but attempted murder if the stuff your throwing at people doesn't kill them if the stuff your throwing at them does kill them then your committing murder so if you throw things at people your committing assault and attempted murder or murder you wouldn't throw a axe at someone would you so never throw stuff at people

If you smoke marijuana or use any illegal drugs or use prescription drugs that are not prescribed to you in some states the police can drug screen you if you use illegal drugs or consume prescription drugs that are not prescribed to you and you can face drug charges and get some hefty jail time and the amount of jail time will depend on how many drugs are in your system it's the same as driving under the influence the more drugs the more time you will do behind bars

  • Travis Gulley
    Travis Gulley Year ago

Graffiti is one of the illegal things you have probably done because if you spray paint and paint the exterior walls of a building or someone's house your committing a form of vandalism called graffiti unless you are a licensed to do it then you are not breaking the law if you don't have a license to do it then you are breaking the law so remember to paint the exterior walls of buildings with spray paint and paint you need granted permission to do it you have to obtain a special license to so it otherwise it's against the law and you can get slapped with a hefty fine jail time and community service and even a restraining order. There was a famous graffiti artist back in the day who got himself arrested just for doing graffiti and you see that is why graffiti is a crime also because of the fact people can use paint and spray paint to do graffiti hardware stores in some some states will not sell you paint products or spray paint or paint if your under the age of 21 and you will be required to show a photo id to buy paint products and paint and spray paint from a hardware store in some states
