  • Best known for his roles as the manipulative Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish on "Game of Thrones" and ambitious politician Tommy Garcetti on "The Wire," it goes without saying that veteran Irish actor Aidan Gillen knows a thing or two about what it takes to get cast on prestige television. He now has taken upon the role of astronomer Josef Allen Hynek in "Project Blue Book," which premiered on History earlier this month.
In this clip from his recent Backstage Live interview filmed in Brooklyn, New York, Aidan shares a handy piece of advice that he received early on which helped shape his career, and would certainly be handy for young actors working towards their big breaks today.
