Oh your doggy is adorable and your rv very nice 👍🏻. I actually flew over with my 3 year old daughter on a Vegas vacation about 37 years ago! Just sayin! But we bought tickets a week in advance and it was super overcast. Totally no view, so bummed ☹️! The up side, my young daughter got a kick out of flying in a tiny prop plane!

LOL when TIM strayed too far and FIN and their dog Pepper have a meltdown. It was pathetic, in a good relatable way. Sounds like our RV trip. Very entertaining. Great tunes.

Does your Day Pack fit large men? I am 6' 6" and 260lbs. My wife and I are going to the UK next summer (she is from England) and we plan on hiking a lot in Wales. I have looked all over for a Day Pack that has 2 water bottle holders and couldn't find one under $30. Obviously rain coats will be stored in it as well (I like Frogg Togg) and a camcorder, among some goodies. BTW we are retired aka one day older than dirt :) Love your videos in the RV. I fully realize everyone has their own taste but you guys ruined really nice oak cabinets with paint, IMHO. Look forward to more of your videos.

    • TIM and FIN
TIM and FIN  5 months ago

Hey DC- I would pass on our daypack....I'm 6'1"" and its comfortable but that would be pushing it! We really like the daybags from REI as well- Their Flash 18 pack has a little bit of foam padding on the back and we've found it's easier to put on as well. It's around $40 but the build quality is super high-something you might want to check out. It folds SUPER flat for packing as well which is nice. The only problem- not bottle holders! Thanks for the kind words on our videos- we put a ton of work into them.

How do yo use a normal phone as a hotspot? I thought you had to pay extra to get the hotspot feature, so how does that work?

    • TIM and FIN
TIM and FIN  5 months ago +1

Hey VIctoria- T Mobile has some crazy unlimited plan but its only for phones- you can't use the sim card in a dedicated hotspot. However, when we were in the store the rep let us know that we could still hotspot to our old iphone just like normal. It worked perfect. We had several months where we used over 200GB's of data. What we just found out is that we can turn the service on and off simply by calling in. So while we're "home" for the month we turned the plan off and will turn it back on if we need it in Mexico.

Of course you can! There are a few places off limits though- certain cities, national parks, stuff like that. It very much depends on where you're flying.

LOL @ the Meteor Crater segment! My husband and I traveled there too and felt EXACTLY the same way you two did. When Tim said he didn't want to pay $18 bucks to look at another hole in the ground I recalled saying the exact same thing AFTER having visited The Grand Canyons the day before. With that said I LOVE your channel and videos! I'm so glad I came across them because we plan on doing this exact thing in an RV and seeing you two drive that some what big Winnebago on those narrow, mountain roads (without guard rails) is encouraging. We drove route 49 in California to go to The Sequoia National Park and Yosemite and little did we know it was all mountain, cliffs without guards there too but we saw a fire truck haul tailing it down the road while we were in a car going like 20 mphs.

    • TIM and FIN
TIM and FIN  7 months ago

I mean- we regret even spending the gas money to get out to Meteor Crater! Hopefully we save some people a bit of time in the future. Thanks for checking out the video btw. The Winnebago is far from agile on those twisty roads, but you get used to it. I totally fit the stereotype of the dude driving his RV WAY slow everywhere. Helps with mileage and avoiding those jarring bumps from crummy roads. I would bet a $1 that a firetruck handles much better than this thing :)
