I never been Alien fan, never, i like it's overrated, my opinion it's most scifi than horror, i am seen Aliens movies long time ago.

Alien (1979) was more like horror, and Aliens (1986) was more action scifi.

What a brilliant event! I absolutely love to hear that the 9 year old girl didn't go on to become sucked up by Hollywood super fame instead she teaches children! That really put a smile on my face, also miss weaver is still stunning!

And then part 3 came. Sometimes I wish certains movies were not so good, because anything that comes after it is so hyped in your mind that nothing could ever follow it.

I saw the film nine times in the cinema at a time when I had no money to speak of. I memorized almost every line.
Its amazing how powerful this movie was in Hollywood. It set a dramatic and character benchmark that is harder to escape than a black hole.
Few movies involving technology do not make a reference to it in some form: a key word of dialogue, a practical lighting effect, a scene, an individual gesture or a prop.

The scariest movie I've ever seen in my life was also one that created a vision I've laughed about for 30 years. Sitting in an aisle seat toward the back of the theater, I saw some woman literally crawling up the aisle toward the exit in absolute terror shortly after the chest burster scene, her husband following along sheepishly thinking it was a bad idea talking his wife into coming... a real marital litmus test if ever I've seen one:)

Her 1st one back in the 80's - total trash.
    The afterward, more trash.
Kept using that big long funny head repeatedly.
Even in the 80's, it bored me to watch.
I watched it in the Bronx.

Awesome vid, but i disagree that Aliens is a "cult classic". I think its harder to find someone who doesn't like this movie than someone who does. Its just a classic. it just so happens to be a classic that, in my opinion, is a perfect and untouchable film along with its prequel.
