How is this the NFL’s fault??? There’s not a single person reading this comment that is employed that could picket a business they work for and expect to keep their job or ever get rehired if they would not stop picketing.

When Lebron vs Jordan comes up I hear a lot about Jordan's defense being superior. I wonder how great Lebron's defense would have been if he had been allowed to hand check people through his career. Maybe some people with more basketball knowledge than me could chime in?

@Don Cataldo well it wouldnt affect his defensive stat in any kind of way because if it was something that had a huge role in defensive rating alot of players would be know as great defenders.jordan was a defensive dominant player outside of handchecking.

ICEYALI They can talk about the resurgence of Andrew Wiggins, they can talk about how Luka and Trae Young are MVP candidates in only their second year, they can talk about how Fultz has been playing well, they can talk about the fact that Paul George dropped 70 in his first 2 games back, they can talk about how Phoenix randomly is playing well all of a sudden, they can talk about how the Blazers have fallen off really badly, they can talk about the fact that Melo is now back in the league, etc. There's literally hundreds of other great storylines going on in the NBA right now and all these shows ever talk about is LeBron and Kawhi. It's honestly disappointing and kind've irritating.

I didn't realize he was gone, permanently. I looked it up and found:

"Carter's career with FS1 took a nasty turn this NFL season, as, according to reports, he was upset with the network choosing another former Hall of Famer, Tight End Tony Gonzalez, to be an analysis on the network's Thursday Night Football coverage. Gonzalez has been with the network since May of 2017 after a short tenure with the CBS football program.

The straw that broke the camel's back was an intense, emotional meeting between Carter and his bosses at the network. At that point, Carter was suspended indefinitely from the air, showing that his days at the network were limited.

According to Ryan Glasspiegel of The Big Lead, Carter was escorted out by security after having his desk cleaned out to the building. Currently, another football player has taken Carter's spot on the morning show he co-host. Former NFL defensive lineman Chris Canty has taken Carter's spot across from Nick Wright and Jenna Wolfe over the past week and a half since Carter's original suspension. It has yet to be determined whether or not if Canty will be replaced full time."

it's not really that different. If you remember through circa 2015/2016 whenever LBJ dunked the top of his head was at rim level, and on some dunks his forehead was above the rim. He can't do that anymore, and if you look at the dunk they're hyping, he was a good 8 inches below the rim.

    • Box
      Box 17 days ago

He's never been in this position before on a winning team with a viable chance at the championship as well as playing in a big market team with so much eyes, pressure and expectations on him. I think out of everyone he is most disappointed in himself, you can see it in his swagger especially at the end of the Kings game when he got the block, he looked very disappointed in himself that game. I think playing with Lebron opened his eyes to what kind of superstar he is supposed to be and what hes expected to be and he wants to live up to that but just hasnt learned yet. I think hes realizing how big of shoes he has to fill and how much he needs to step up his game. He really needs to learn how to start taking over late in the 4th and learn how to close games. He needs to learn how to be a closer, which is something he never learned in NO cause their teams never really had a chance anyways. If AD can shoot a mid range game as efficient as KD, its over, AD best player in the league hands down and Lakers %100 percent win the championship cause nobody can stop him.

Needs to find his role, that's all. I think small changes will make this work.
Get the ball in there 3-5 seconds earlier, so he has a chance to pass out without forcing it.
Maybe it's a shoulder thing but sit him 10 games 2nd half and he'll be fine.
