We don't talk about bruno no no no but it was are waiting day

S 0p
Too bad Dolores didn't have her own song. Her part was absolutely amazing. Also unlike the others her words were very sympathetic towards Bruno, she said that his gift was a tough one to handle and that isn't his fault that others didn't understand him.
Also she gave Mirabel hints that he is still in the house.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
@iOrexO she definitely knew was there, she even admits it at the end.
Also whats admirable is Bruno gavr her a vidion about the man of her dreams but still she wasn't angry with him unlike the others
Yeah she probably knew that he did not mean any harm from his powers, especially since Its highly possible she knew that Bruno was SPOILERS in the house since she can hear everything, yet she chose not to tell anyone. JUST SPECULATION
@SephoraPlays they haven't confirmed it but I'm speculating that they will
@bon next movie? There wil be a 2nd one?
About 1000% better than the version at the Oscars 🤷🏾♂️
yeah totally!
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
∞
The Oscars version was just trash. In my opinion..
That's a low bar
"I'm fine."
"I'll be fine."
Oh, drat this song is pure genius. Two separate lines showed two intertwined fates: the one who wants the life the other doesn't.
Morticia Gomez Voldemont Giulia
Alberto Ming Hansel Proposing Guy
Young Lina Helga Meilin Walter
Fun fact, the more truthful a part of the song is, the quieter it is, hence Camillo's part being loudest, and Dolores' being quietest, until the very end, when Dolores is saying "I'm fine" when it gets easier to hear, because she's lying to herself.
Also Dolores' part being quieter makes perfect sense because of her gift.
Fun fact number 2: that all makes it very difficult when you agree to do Dolores' part when you and some friends perform this song in sign language, so you have to listen for her part specifically to make sure your timing is right....
So now I'm sitting on my bed listening to this on repeat to make sure I can consistently keep track of what lyrics I should be on through the part where everyone's singing at once. It's great. I'm only slightly regretting my life choices. :)
I mean, the entire truth aspect feels like a stretch.
@Picky PUNguin every rule has an exception
Excuse you. Felix shouting "THUNDER" was both the loudest *and* most accurate part of the song. How do you explain *that*?
Ty for sharing this!
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno... but
It was my wedding day
It was our wedding day
We were getting ready, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky
No clouds allowed in the sky
Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin-
Thunder!!
You telling this story, or am I?
I'm sorry, mi vida, go on
Bruno says, "It looks like rain"
Why did he tell us?
In doing so, he floods my brain
Abuela, get the umbrellas
Married in a hurricane
What a joyous day... but anyway
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno!
Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling
I could always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling
I associate him with the sound of falling sand, ch-ch-ch
It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling
Always left Abuela and the family fumbling
Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand
Do you understand?
A seven-foot frame
Rats along his back
When he calls your name
It all fades to black
Yeah, he sees your dreams
And feasts on your screams (hey!)
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no! (We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!)
We don't talk about Bruno (we don't talk about Bruno!)
He told me my fish would die
The next day: dead! (No, no!)
He told me I'd grow a gut!
And just like he said... (no, no!)
He said that all my hair would disappear, now look at my head (no, no! Hey!)
Your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read!
He told me that the life of my dreams would be promised, and someday be mine
He told me that my power would grow, like the grapes that thrive on the vine
Óye, Mariano's on his way
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach
Betrothed to another
It's like I hear him now
Hey sis, I want not a sound out of you (it's like I can hear him now)
I can hear him now
Um, Bruno...
Yeah, about that Bruno...
I really need to know about Bruno...
Gimmie the truth and the whole truth, Bruno
(Isabella, your boyfriend's here)
Time for dinner!
A seven-foot frame (it was my wedding day, it was our wedding day)
Rats along his back (we were getting ready)
When he calls your name (and there wasn't a cloud in the sky)
It all fades to black (no clouds allowed in the sky!)
Yeah, he sees your dreams (Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin-)
And feasts on your screams (thunder!)
You telling this story, or am I?
I'm sorry, mi vida, go on (óye, Mariano's on his way)
Bruno says, "It looks like rain" (a seven-foot frame, rats along his back)
In doing so, he floods my brain
Married in a hurricane
He's here!
Don't talk about Bruno, no! (Why did I talk about Bruno?)
Not a word about Bruno
I never should've brought up Bruno!
This song is ten times better then let it go from frozen
the vid lyric too fast for me so, thank u
@srec 12ld3 ew🤮 that's weird
@Valerie Cabrera cry bout it
Thanks for that, it's easier to sing along this way!!
I think that what I loved about the storyline of Bruno is the underlying idea is bruno actually gives you free will. He tells you the path your on and YOU have a chance to change it. He told the woman about her fish and since she didn't do anything about it the fish died she might have been able to stop it. The guy was told he would get a gut and instead of changing his eating habits and working out he made it come true. And even in the end bruno says he only mentioned rain at the wedding because she was already nervous and would have made it rain anyway. She literally CONTROLS weather and he let him tell her what was gonna happen.
Nothing he say HAS to happen which is why Dolores gets her man in the end too
@mikei agree 100%! It reminds of final destination in which more times than not, the more ppl would try and change their future, they end up subconsciously doing things that lead to that actual result.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
So...he’s the ghost of Christmas yet to come?
@Brianna Kyles actually his prophecy for her came true, her powers will grow and she will be happy. it was just misinterpreted by everyone (Delores mentioned how they don't understand him)
@mikei It's only obvious to us because we get to see the whole picture. In the song, literally the entire village says, "Your fate is sealed when your prophecy is read." Meaning they think that once Bruno says it, he's pretty much cursing you to whatever horrible fate he saw. In the first part of the song Pepa paints him as someone who intentionally ruined her wedding and her kids are both somewhat freaked out by him. Abuela claims that both Maribel and Bruno are trying to destroy their family later on and Bruno is a forbidden name in the entire village.
So the evidence that people think horribly of Bruno and his prophecies are all over the film.
And no, a prophecy where destiny is set in stone is just relaying facts only the prophet can see. A self fulfilling prophecy is when you get in your own head and actually play a part in making the prophecy come true when you could have changed it.
Bruno's first prophecy was one that changed and he said he's never had that happen where it showed two paths and hadn't decided on a result. It was his second prophecy, after Maribel decided not to give up that showed her how to fix things.
I know what you were saying and what I'm saying is I think you're wrong because the movie both outright states from Bruno that his first prophecy was abnormal and implies that the people have misunderstood Bruno the entire time, even going so far as to cause a problem for a prophecy that never existed just because they thought it did.
I love how all the lyrics are color coordinated with the characters theme color.
it's fascinating how many sounds we couldn't hear in the clip, this is simply a masterpiece ❤
The sounds are there in the movie, they’re just hard to notice without lyrics pointing them out.
When they all sing together it makes perfect music
@srec 12ld3 we don't sweep with a broom noooooo
we dont talk about poohole hole hole hole we dont talk about poohole
If you listen carefully, every members of Madrigal is singing in this song (even Augustin/Julieta/Luisa got a small part of this song)
The part "Time for dinner" is sung by Julieta and Pepa
The part "He's here!" is sung by Augustin, Luisa and Julieta
Actually Antonio and Bruno are the only ones of the family who physically or verbally didn’t take part in this song
isabela’s verse where she talks about the “life of her dreams” has a double meaning-the life of her dreams is the life where she can be herself instead of being the “perfect golden child”. and when bruno told her that her power would grow, it did. her power expanded from just perfect roses to imperfect yet beautiful plants.
edit: guys i just wanted to share my thoughts on the song, i’m not saying i’ve made a shocking discovery lol
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
Well we found another smart one
Omg I just noticed that
That is a beautiful and intelligent interpretation and I agree. Love that.
Not a double meaning, but yes.
If you notice, Isabella said “he told me that my power would grow like the grapes that thrive on the vine” signaling the unleashing of her powers in the song “What else can I do”
And very interesting analogy. She can create any plant and yet she limited herself to pretty flowers. A vine with grapes didn't even cross her mind, not to mention the insignificant grape flowers. I would love to see a sequel just with Isabella cutting her hair and travelling the world, using her gift for good like one of the xmen.
Hearing what Pepa says, makes me believe Bruno’s account about her wedding even more. She really corroborates his story. “Bruno says it looks like rain…” it’s the same thing everyone has been saying to her for the entire movie. It’s her own fault her wedding was ruined.
Pepa, don’t come for Bruno. That’s my boy.
@Royale Jess RIGHT IVE BEEN SAYING!! PEOPLE ARE SO QUICK TO ATTACK PEPA LIKE HELLO?!?!???BRUNO IS ALSO THE ONE TO BLAME IN THAT SITUATION
Technically not really I mean imagine being told your entire life
“You have a cloud”
“Calm down”
Can mess with your emotional development plus you can’t blame someone for having anxiety on a big day and poorly worded joke
@I like you and he's not even my favorite
@I like you it wasn't brunos fault
bruno was lowkey the bad guy in that situation. stop defending ur favs even when they do wrong 💀💀bc y’all just look goofy asl knowing that was 90% bruno’s fault
Seeing all the lyrics of everyone singing was insanely cool!
I love how one of the largest themes tackled in this that our word choices, how we say things, and what we say, can affect people in way larger ways than we expect. How the words of our families and those closest to us carry so much weight, they can plant doubt in your mind. That we need to talk about those. Voice them. A to get it out, and B to communicate. Even light hearted jokes can make someone crack on a day they are stressed over and need to be perfect. Relaying on someone to much can make them feel like they need to shoulder everything. Telling someone how far they will go will make them feel like if they don't they'll disappoint you.
love how dolores' verse paints the most sympathetic view of bruno in the entire song by far, and then her little brother just cuts in talking about him like a cryptid horror
@Melodi yeah. It's confirmed Camilo never met Bruno
@Miguel.A Nice suggestion, no doubt! I just did this and the speed sorta changed the song into a samba party. 💃🏽
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
@Honey Badger lol
loooooool
The amount of energy I gave when acting this out is crazy I’ll forever LOVEEEE Encanto✨❤️
The fact that I can actually relate to Dolores. I have really sensitive ears and I can hear almost everything going through my house. I always hear people talking about family issues at night even if it’s whispers, and people usually come to me to vent. So basically I hear almost everything, and I know a lot about people and rumors and stuff. It sucks. I feel bad for Dolores too.
"He told me the man of my dreams would be just out of the reach bethroted to another..."
That's hit close to the home
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS DISNEY SONG!!!!
😄🤣😂
Same
Camilo's part is so interesting because his description of Bruno is closer to a cryptid monster than a creepy relative. Bruno left when Camilo was young, so he probably has a more wild mental image of him as a result of his younger self's overactive imagination. He's also a playful person who probably likes to tease his younger cousin, so his descriptions are all the more exaggerated.
His part is my favourite
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
@Radi Red Wolfgirl they are the same age. Technically it seems like she knows basic info about Bruno and so does Camilo. When she was singing the family introduction song she just "they said he saw the future and then disappeared" or smth. I'm assuming Camilo's part of 'we don't talk about Bruno' is his perspective of how the adults and villagers, that were there before Bruno left, described him. But they seem to have not interacted with him much as kids. So his whole existence is vague
Wait, how old is Camilo? Cause I read somewhere that he is 15, and Mirabel is also 15, so I was a bit confused how Camilo could remember Bruno but Mirabel hasn't ever seen him. I am probably wrong, but can someone explain it
@Teja Davis oh yea Bruno is lowkey short lol
this song tells so much about each character. especially Isabella and Dolores. with them both saying "I'm fine" over and over again, which you could veeeery easily miss we get a subtle hint that they are both unhappy with their situations.
1:11 is by far my favorite part. I love the way it sounds!!!
I love how the video has multiple subtitles for everything being said in the madrigal. I said it before and I’ll say it again, this song is a masterpiece.
At the end of the song, Dolores' "I am fine" and Isabela's "I'll be fine" mirror each other as they ironically means the exact opposite despite coming from the same place.
Dolores says she is fine DESPITE Bruno's prophecy, whereas Isabela says she'll be fine BECAUSE she has Bruno's prophecy.
Isabela has to marry a man she doesn't love and uses her prediction as a beacon of hope in a life that gives her none, hoping the path she is forced to follow will turn out fine in the end.
Dolores cannot be with the man she loves, because she had her hope taken away from her by Bruno's prophecy and tries her best to ignore it.
Can we appreciate the writing?
Every Disney movie has that one song that is ICONIC. The Little Mermaid has Under the Sea, Aladdin has A Whole New World, and Frozen has Let It Go. Encanto is definitely We Don’t Talk About Bruno
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
i disagree about the Aladdin one its a friend like me
I think the iconic for aladdin is the genie theme, but that’s just my opinion
No, Aladdin’s iconic song is friend like me
Some Disney movies have more😏 (Example 1: Frozen-Let It Go, Do You Want To Build A Snowman?
Example 2: Encanto- We Don't Talk About Bruno, Dos Originals, Surface pressure, Waiting On A Miracle, All Of You, Basically all of them xD
I love how Bruno's "mischievous grin" is really him just being an awkward goofball by trying to make a (badly timed) joke about how nervous Pepa seemed
The complexity of this song always makes me tear up. ❤️
And the fact that Bruno had to listen to it through the walls, he must of hated bad stuff being said about him🥺 he was probably vibing to Dolores's part tho
One of the best of the long long list of incredible Disney songs. If I had just two, it would be this one and the original Main Street Electrical Parade music, each with their intricately woven sub themes. Gorgeous song, Bruno here.
Watching this because the Oscars butchered it and I need to hear the original to feel better.
Felt 😭😭
Yes, and the fact the oscar people literally thought we would like it 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤮🤢🤮
@IndieGirl10100 I don't think he knew about it. 😅
OMG YES! Like why??? Did Lin approve that performance??
Facts
We’re not talking about Bruno. We are singing about him.
yadhdhhddekeiri
Exactly
Touche @Ricky Benjamin, touché
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
This is an absolute masterpiece. I cannot turn it off.
I loved when Dolores said "I associate him with the sound of falling sand" to let mirabel know that he's still apart of the Encanto and that he can still see into ppl future
the "ch ch ch" sound is actually the salt and sugar Bruno was throwing behind him. if it was actual sand then the sound would be prolonged "chhhhhhhhhhhh"
Anyone else recovering from that awful version at the Oscar’s by listening to the actual fire song?
here😭
Yes lmao. They didn’t perform any of the good parts of the song so I’m here
yes me
This is so good it feels like you are in encanto and it's super relaxing I watch this one so many times
I love how everyone described Bruno like he's some mystic, wise & spooky sorcerer
and Bruno is like "I just told them what I saw"
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
I question if all the lyrics combined are supposed to send mixed messages.
@GA4836 that was the point, it wasn't the life of her dreams. The life of her dreams started when she understood she didn't have to be perfect and unleashed her full potential
@AwesomeMusicLady well for me, it wasn't bad BUT. She wanted that life. The life she's living is the life that wasn't promised for her.(bruno's vision) she only got that life because of mirabel. So yeah i guess it was kinda bad for her, she just sang it like it was a good thing.Oh and she used past tense that time
@Mara Buora nope, prophecy was still correct as he was out of reach and betrothed to another. But he never said she wouldn't ever get the man of her dreams 😏
Listening to this on headphones is an amazing experience, especially during the last part of the song where everyone sings their parts together.
The Camilo voice actor has a beautiful voice, i could listen to his part of the song all day and never get tired
Had they put this song up for an Oscar nomination instead, it would have won hands down.
I love how this is the newest classic but it doesn’t get old. ❤️
I absolutely love Dolores’ and Isabella’s lines. They just seem to mirror each other. I know a lot of people have mentioned this, but I haven’t seen anyone mention that near the end Dolores is saying “I’m fine” while Isabella is saying “I’ll be fine” which further cements the idea that Isabella knows she won’t be the happiest, but is doing what she thinks is best for the family. Dolores may understand this and accepts it and says “I’m fine”.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
@NôNô's Channel I just assumed that she was on about Bruno, at least on the third and second last lines since she put emphasis on the "like"🤷🏿♀️ but ig that would also make sense now that I think about
Also the after the part Dolores said the man of her dream was out of reach and later said :"I could hear him now" I felt that this "him" means Isabella's boyfriend (Mariano), who is the man that Dolores likes and "I'm fine" is just what she's trying to convince herself that she's fine knowing the fact that the man she likes will end up with her sister
I also just adore how similar it is to Hamilton with Angelica and Eliza. I'm honestly so glad that they managed to have Lin on this project.
This song has so much foreshadowing in it it's crazy. When you hear it the second time after watching the whole movie you realize it basically spelled out the rest of the movie.
When Dolores sung about the man of her dreams, I felt that. I cried a bit even though I never experienced it; I live on her shoes for a moment.
The real genius of this song is that while the family remembers highly personalized sketches of Bruno-Pepa, an ill-timed joke, Camilo, a comic book monster he invented, Isabella, a self-satisfied affirmation-they are actually readying for a visit from Isabella’s suitor, and carrying on with fam biz while poor Mirabel is trying to save their butts. Dolores is the only one who gets how tough it was on Bruno… but then, she’s been hearing the rat novellas all these years.
Me: *puts in 2x*
ALSO: the movie was amazing!!!
i love when they are all singing toghether it sounds amazing!
Bruno is totally like the saying “don’t shoot the messenger” like he was only telling them their fates, not bringing it upon them.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
@jane the pain in lots of agricultural cultures, rain on your wedding day is considered good luck and a blessing on the marriage
@Anime Lover I think that when he said that to pepa it wasn't a vision, it was a joke, cause she was nervous and when she is worried it rains
Totally
Oh boy! I love this song! I hope it wasn’t butchered in the Oscars or something!
Oh,honey.
Who else is back here to listen to the *REAL* version after that embarrassing butchering at Oscars night?
meeeee
@Jack Black I agree. It was a pun.
@Jack Black Well you think wrong, my friend. It *sucked hard.*
I don't know, I thought it *slapped* >:)
lmao butchering 💀🤣🤣
this is the song that sounds rlly good but after played over 5 times gets annoying and I love it
I wanna hear it again and again..! So good😃😃
please tell me I'm not the only one who loved the last part where they mixed every character's parttt, like wtf, how did they make it sound so satisfyinggggg
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
Because Lin is a musical genius ;)
Qluv
It's a type of music called "Madrigal" which ironically is their family name.
Its called a Madrigal
I LOVE THIS SONG AND THE LYRICS ARE THE BEST!
Dolores is the one trying to explain that he was shunned because people were afraid of his gift, that they couldn't understand. She's very pointed on the "do you understand" as if to say "don't listen to everyone else as you move forward". Also....she always lived in fear of his stuttering and stumbling...perhaps the fear of his mother's disapproval caused him to always stutter and stumble, making the family feel that he was erratic or dangerous?
I swear to god the warm family needs their own songs. Their verses are 🔥!
I loved when it was dinner time and everyone sang all together and how you put their voices on the whole screen!
Except for the corner (if you were trapped in there that would be the spot
I love Dolores's parts because most of the lyrics have double meanings and make us to use our brain a bit (like how she uses present tense instead of past tense) which i found absolutely brilliant
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
Your comment got more like than the creator's lol 😂
Here's another fact when Dolores says I associate him with the sound of falling sand He's throwing salt over his shoulder
I didn't watch the movie yet, but this whole time I'm just like, "So does she just casually know he lives in the walls and just... doesn't talk about it?"
I LOVE this song!!!!
I love this song❤
I wish the they have a live performance and all of them are singing in live
When they do the mash-up at the end, the 7 foot frame hook sort of stands out for me and makes that whole part of the song work.
I love that the "it looks like rain" comment from Bruno was actually a joke because he sees that Pepa sweating because she's either nervous about the wedding or his arrival and that "mischievous grin" was just him smiling at the joke. He was trying to cheer her up.
@Edua Gonzalez yea but in all of y ou he says "that wasn't a prophiciency i could just see you were sweating"
He could see the future, i think he literally just told her what he saw in his vision. No more, no less
No he walked in to congratulate Pepa on getting a husband
Probably not the smartest to, as a fortune teller, tel a joke that “it looks like rain” on her sisters wedding day lol.
I Don't agree

@Dark Lord Or Something exactly 🙌🏻👋🏻 people hating for no reason 🙄🤡
@🛍Mexican Barbie🛍 Your point is? It's incredibly hard when only the current sung word shows up and not the rest of the lyrics. Everyone on every single music video on RU-clip does this for a great reason. Editors are shit at their lyrics editing.
@🛍Mexican Barbie🛍 so?!
I love the song! 💜❤
Absolutely mind blown especially the end
We know why you’re here. It’s ok, they won’t hurt you anymore
I had to get 5 drops of holy water in both eyes and had hearing surgery a couple days later (still recovering) but this cured my sickness
😭😭
It was a fucking remix,not even a good one,I’m traumatised 💀💀
It was HORRIED
Dolores using present tense on her lines is so interesting. She's hinting that bruno is in encanto, she can still hear him. And the 'Do you understand?' like she's saying 'Mirabel, did you get it?'
Yes midabel is the oly one
Wow!
Yeah true
@Dvq Jacks two Bratz doll but one - left how many is it is a one or two
@Dvq Jacks Bratz doll
I love the song :3
I can't wait for Encanto the Musical the stage effects are gonna be amazing
I like how at first Bruno’s represented as some creepy, psychotic, old hick but when Mirabel meets Bruno later on, he’s just this legit chill and adorable guy who just wants a hug🥺🥺
This song has been stuck in my head for over 2 months now, but I didn't get the hype over it until I watched the movie, and I LOVED IT!!!!! I loved everything about it: the characters, the writing, the story, the complicated and strained yet relatable family dynamic, the music (more especially the music!!), the personalities and character arcs of the Madrigal family, everything... And now I can't stop singing it 😄😃😄😀😀🎵🎶🎵🎵 Lin-Manuel Miranda and the writers were geniuses with the songs on the track, I can see why everybody was loving it! I even sang it to the kids at the school I work at, and they really ate it up!
Fun fact: Lin Manuel Miranda revealed that all the parts of the song utilised the same chords but different rhythms. I think this is ingenious because all the characters are different with their gifts and personalities, yet they are all brought together by the sam basic chords, and their family tree.
Also, by putting all the parts together, they sound good because they are comprised of the same chords. It emphasises how despite the sections of the song sounding so different from one another because of differing rhythms, when put together they sound mesmerising. The same is true in real life families (or most of them at least); everyone is different, but together, they are family and complement each other.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
Isnt it funny her voice can be a little annoying until she starts singing?
@Sadbh Connolly pretty sure he just likes writing songs with several characters singing different overlapping melodies. And it sounds SO GOOD!!!
He's awesomee
The magical song writing of Lin Manuel Miranda and
I love how they talk about bruno the entire song
Love this song Disney great job ❣️
The final part is very complicated
But if you hear carefully, you can hear every single part 🤫
@Carson’s City 🏙 Ehm... That's hard 😬😂
What about Dolores
THIS IS SO CATCHY!!! I will be downloading this on Spotify!!! Lmao damn 🙌🙌
I never knew both Dolores and Isabella sang the "I'm fine!" part. Makes a lot of sense considering their situations.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
@Celesteigo she did and so did Dolores but then they both switched to “I’m fine” or “I’ll be fine”
Bruno i like him BC he has rats and ya
Yeah your right the I m fine I heard it
I like how it switched from the Latin sound to an R&B sound then back to Latin
Theory that Camilo knows more than Mirabel about Bruno because he had a negative encounter and then spends a lot more time helping people in town whereas she helps around the house as best as she can and this is why the villagers also don't know a lot about her gift...at least the kids don't.
Also I think Antonio and Bruno would get along well because Antonio communicates with animals and Bruno has a rat affinity. They could do an animal production Antonio talking to the animals telling them what to do and asking what they think. Bruno likes rat telenovelas so they would go well together. Camilo would be good at doing something theater related too. The whole family could actually work together to create a big production complete with food and Mirabel controlling Casita. Not sure what Delores would do but I'm sure they could fit her in.
I am obsessed with this song🖤✨🛐
This is so good my kids love it!(;
I love the song it’s my favorite 🤩 ❤️💝
While Dolores says “it’s like I can hear him now”, Bruno is walking in the background THE CHILLS I HAVE OMFG DISNEY Y’ALL’S DETAILS ARE AMAZING
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
@kiki ♡ in Dolores’s rap bit after Peppa and Félix :)
Omg I love when it says it
@kiki ♡ dude its easy
So true, I was laughing how he was just secretly jamming in the shadows when I noticed him. Cute guy but it was sad when apparently it was shown he just ate meals with them behind the cracked walls all those times.
I dunno but this is the coolest song in Disney for me so far, I'm really hooked with this song
THIS IS AN AMAZING SONG!!!!
for some reason I really like camilo, and not only his voice. He is by far my fav character
reply yours
I love this song 🎵
I never realized Dolores and Isabela both sang "I'm fine" before. It's so heartbreaking now that we understand the meaning of their feelings.
🐝 Babylon Bee's version even better! 👍
@Sasukekun19 en lasos con otra, (casi lo puedo oír)
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach.
@Sasukekun19 y que aci el poder de mi don como uvas va madurar (Oye Mariano vá llegar)
He told me that the life of my dreams would be promised and someday would be mine.
I love "Encanto" movie! 🎥
I LOVE THIS SONG
OMG I love this song so much love it
That heartbreaking moment when you realize Bruno sits with them every night for dinner alone, listening to them talk badly about him.
This song also shows off how good a husband Felix is, he never resents his wife’s power or how often she has a storm or cloud and even when he got married to her in a hurricane she created he still says “what a joyous day” it’d be so easy to make him constantly angry at her but he’s not and it’s really sweet
🐝 Babylon Bee's version is better! 👍
Get you a man like Félix!
that's why I love him
I love how he still views the day as joyous despite her powers causing the hurricane.
Like who cares about that? He got the woman he loves. What a guy. 💜
yeah félix is a good husband
The song has been in my head for 5 days
Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling
I could always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling
I associate him with the sound of falling sand, ch-ch-ch
It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling
Always left Abuela and the family fumbling
Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand
Do you understand?
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach
Betrothed to another
It's like I hear him now
Hey sis', I want not a sound out of you (it's like I can hear him now)
I can hear him now
Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling
I could always hear him sort of muttering and mumbling
I associate him with the sound of falling sand, ch-ch-ch
It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling
Always left Abuela and the family fumbling
Grappling with prophecies they couldn't understand
Do you understand?
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach
Betrothed to another, another
and I'm fine
This song is never getting out of my head.
I love Isabella's voice
I love the way all the verses are layered at the end
Lin does this so well
🐝 Babylon Bee's version, even better! 👍
@Wowits_calico they held him back so he wouldn't take the mic
seven foot frame
Its an age old musical theatre tradition but Lin does it very very well
Really like having here more a visual aiding her and noting how Isabella and Dolores are singing almost the same verbs at the same time but with some changes here and there.
This part actually reveals the fact Bruno is there in the house, 3:10 watch up to the part where the lyrics say "He's Here"
LYRICS -paused
We don't talk about Bruno
no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno...
but
It was my wedding day
(It was our wedding day)
We were getting ready, and there wasn't a cloud in the sky
(No clouds allowed in the sky)
Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin-
(Thunder!!)
You telling this story, or am I?
(I'm sorry, mi vida, go on)
Bruno says, "It looks like rain"
(Why did he tell us?)
In doing so, he floods my brain
(Abuela, get the umbrellas)
Married in a hurricane
(What a joyous day... but anyway)
We don't talk about Bruno, no, no, no!
We don't talk about Bruno!
Hey! Grew to live in fear of Bruno stuttering or stumbling

(Óye, Mariano's on his way)
He told me that the man of my dreams would be just out of reach
Betrothed to another
It's like I hear him now
Hey sis, I want not a sound out of you (it's like I can hear him now)
I can hear him now
Um, Bruno...
Yeah, about that Bruno...
I really need to know about Bruno...
Gimmie the truth and the whole truth, Brunooooo
(Isabella, your boyfriend's here)
(Time for dinner!)
A seven-foot frame

Not a word about Bruno
I never should've brought up Bruno
