I only knew about Mauraders Inc. They use to only sell weapons for 1:18 scale figures. Great prices. They made their announcement about these 3 3/4 figures and are compatible with G.I. Joe figures as well. I bought a couple of these figures from Mauraders and they rock!

I truly hated the switching of the laser colors post-movie. COBRA is supposed to be Blue. Which match the colors of the soldiers' uniforms and the blue-bloods like Cobra Commander and Baroness. G.I.JOE is Red for the red-blooded American who fights COBRA.

6:00 cons? Let's see, the figure is STILL in the production phase almost two years after being fully funded. Factory won't stick to the originally quoted timelines because it is seen as a "small scale" run. I am eagerly awaiting this figure as I have met Mr. Hama twice and am looking to meet him again in the near future. I did not pay for a signed figure as I have a few items already signed by him and I'd rather be able to freely display such a great figure.

World 1:18 [3 3/4 Action Figures Channel] Muchas gracias amigo.

    • World 1:18 [3 3/4 Action Figures Channel]
World 1:18 [3 3/4 Action Figures Channel] 3 months ago

B.A.T.s are cheaper and easier to produce than human troops when you factor in the time and cost of breeding, raising, and training a human from birth. Even a lightly armored unit is likely to survive much more damage than a single human, and if retrieved from the battlefield could be possibly repaired or salvaged.

even tho this is hollow;u can easily cut out a cardboard piece , then use styrofoam with spray glue and model grass n fauna as well as print out pics of compute consoles and walls for the “interior” ! problem solved! i use extra weapon racks, or oil drums, street signs, etc etc for accessories on the insides of these types of toy play sets. dry & wet brushing with paint is a great addition to the styrofoam and or cardboard scenes/scenery as well!!! this is all very cheap, and easy to learn! i can do it, you can do it! i’m horrible at learning stuff, and i’ve figure it out. just google it; you’ll get many easy how to videos and or printed instruction(s).

  • Necron99. AKA- Sammy boy

did this just come out? what store did u buy it? i just went Wal Mart yesterday and was just thinking about “the Corps”. lol i’ve started buying old lanard/The Corps sets n figures too. i’m hoping i’ll find this soon at Wal mary, so i don’t have to get gouged on Ebay! i’m already paying like $50 for each older set. $80-100 for 1990’s play sets n medium vehicles!!

Initial assessment (before watching the video): The Collectors refusing to adapt to the changing market killed GI Joes *EDIT* In light of the new line of Power Rangers released by Hasbro, I'm willing to bet that Star Wars isn't at fault. Action features, straying too far from the source material. And lack of general direction is what killed RAH

that's a small chopper I wonder if you can fuse some GI Joe prats to it to make it more GI Joe, but it looks very nice and it holds two action figures, so not bad at all then, great review

Thanks for the kind words. I generally leave vehicles as they are, I am trying to research some techniques (painting, sculpting, etc.) before embarking into customizing vehicles.

This is why modern figures are such a joke. All of those versions are in the modern (post-1994) era. It's so Hasbro can milk fans over and over again because they know some of them will have to buy them all.

In the vintage era 1982-1994 only 7 versions of Snake-Eyes were produced, an average of one every two years just to give newcomers the chance to own one Snake-Eyes figure once it was discontinued. In the post vintage era 1997-2006 an amount of 22 versions were produced and the post 25th anniversary era 2007-now brought the ridiculous number of 41 Snake-Eyes versions. G.I. Joe turned little by little into a franchise for die-hard/completist collectors so the fan base contracted.

Saludos!

That's a great playset, my friend! I know how it is to find something that you wanted since you were a kid and in a good price nonetheless! I'm happy for you and I hope you enjoy it.

Very cool. Good advice for sure. I did the same thing with the Dungeons & Dragons Fortress of Fangs playset myself a couple of years ago. It is such a good feeling when you can get something like that.

Thanks. Perhaps the fact the item was incomplete made all those watchers to wait for something else that probably will never come. I considered the only piece I would need badly was the main front cannon and there were several offers for it on Ebay, the other pieces missing besides the jail wall were something I could get by without, the main body of the playset was there and it was in excellent if not pristine condition so I pulled the trigger and the rest of the watchers just had the sad message (I have often received) "this item is out of stock".

Saludos.

I think they still have the Star Wars Rogue One 3"¾ Black Series Rebel pilot on eBay between $7-12, check out. It's articulation is similar to the GI Joe.👍

The Eco Warriors, DEF, and Street Fighter, along with the simplified/genericized look of the toys , up to the childish writing of the filecards compromised the quality of the line, and the childish excuse of an animated 'movie' really alienated fans.

@World 1:18 [3 3/4 Action Figures Channel] that is a lot for them but you could have gone to a local collectible store and got a deal on them for cheaper

I bought them on Ebay but only the four figures I was interested in, loose figures sell for about $12. The complete set goes for the $70-100 range.
