This is why I love 3d printing, in the right hands it can make a massive difference to society! that said I can't see this tech being able to print a fully working heart yet unless it can print muscles and there's no guarantee that a patient could take a synthetic organ due to allergies or their body treating synthetic organ as a foreign body and attack it.

Hopefully no one uses their ovens for food again after putting plastic in it... not really advisable to eat out of the same oven you used to bake plastic, the fumes and other particles in the plastic will permanently contaminate your oven...

  • a theory on everything

There is a Ted talk with a 3d printed kidney and about 10-15 years ago they used a lexmark bubble jet printer to print a heart valve. It was printed in layers, stacked and grown together in a petri dish. When they tested it, it worked a lot like what you saw.

Hmmm I know I've heard this intro before.....

  • Captain Capellini

I've even done 1 or 2 layer thick prints, then about 3-5% gyroid infill, surprisingly strong, you can throw them at a tiled floor and they don't break. Depends on the use obviously, I'll go for higher infill for functional things that need strength but most stuff you can do much lower on, gyroid is good also because it's quite even and gives lots of area for parts to build on internally if they need to.

This is the process of 3D printing from photographs... i used this free software that other are talking about called MESHROOM.... it keeps crashing regardless of how limited the amount of photos i try.. if i cant use this process to re create my own models, than i am out of luck doing 3d printing... CAN YOU RECOMMEND A SOFTWARE THAT WILL WORK WITH PC FOR Photogrammetry... any help anyone can give me will be highly thanked.
