Hey man. It's refreshing to find this video as online can be too much info and requirements involving degrees. I don't have a degree but I have diploma qualifation through a university I might try and put to use. (Which involves psychology, social research etc and goes into development alone so it may be useful to work with kids) I'm from the uk/ Ireland and have had experience caring for special needs children and also the elderly. I'm in Thailand running out of money and might take a big risk and get a flight to Vietnam to try and teach English. Do you think my chances will be fine? Haha.. Also do they usually keep teachers long even if they are slow learners to grasp the Vietnamese language?

You mention buying capsules of herbs. They have the healthiest diet in the world. Just buy bunches of herbs from a market. Raw vegetables are better than anything supplement you get in a capsule. Liver is also very good and oily fish which are both common in Vietnam. These sources contain most of the vitamins you need.

It's a sad fact but foreigners mainly get targeted for scams because they are easy to fool, they usually wouldn't target locals because chances are they know of their tricks and will get they ass beat if they even tried to scam a local, whenever I visit, I try not to speak English but speak as much Khmer as I can, that way they won't think am from Australia

I went to that mountain years ago, just to pray to that statue and monks and the worst experience for me was the beggars, just walking by them having them ALL watch you and some of them with deformities ask you for money. Remember the fact you walk past them to get inside and walk past them again when you walk out

There something about Cambodia that keeps bringing me back there, I mean most people that is used to living life in the first world country would never go to such a place, I've been in and out of Cambodia every few years and I believe I like the culture and way of life (lifestyle) the way they do things so differently from here like not following road rules and opening up shops without permits, it's just those little things that give me a sense of freedom every time I visit there, also I am Cambodian.

I must be honest and fair in saying there are people who are nice and friendly everywhere. I was in Manila last December, very nice sales ladies when I was shopping for some electronics. Unfortunately, there were also some rude ones. A few days later, I was in Hong Kong - same story. Everywhere there are nice people and vice versa. Perfectly understandable if you are targeting a lot of views from a specific nation. All is well. No disrespect.

Rohan Grooby , industrial waste. Rivers around the Dhaka city are the worst. Bangladesh is a country of thousands and thousands of rivers. Most of the rivers are clean in the countryside.

Thank you so much for that๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ However, i have a few concerns(in the hope you can help me out w). Thank you so much in adv.๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ Firstly, I would like to know if it is possible for singaporean diploma holder to land a teaching job in vietnam? My diploma is not relating to education and i have no teaching experience. I live in my home country only so far. Never live/stay in any of those native english speaking countries before. Asian looking(lol want to provide as much details as i think i should๐Ÿ˜†) If so, have you personally seen any? A little bit abt singaporeans. Though english is not our first language, we speak english generally since young. Secondly, what sort of institute/school should i consider applying to(given my situation)? Language center? Public school? Hope im not taking so much of your time and looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks once again for any help offered and happy travelling. :)

    • Edges Of Earth
Edges Of Earth 5 days ago

      - Hello! :) Yes, you can find a job without a problem. However, the salary may not be as much as a native...that's my guess. I would highly recommend purchasing a TEFL course to familiarize yourself with teaching. This will be of benefit to you and the students. You should also click on the links in the description (FB), to get an idea about how things work. Request to join the group and when accepted, read around a bit. You will learn a lot inside these groups. Thanks for watching my crazy adventures!

thats interesting about Cambodia not being interested in tourists, do you think its the culture or because Its not as developed and people aren't as fluent in English? It seems like alot of Expats like people coming up to them in Vietnam to have conversations and feel like they are a celebrity. Do you miss that in cambodia? Or is it nice to blend in a little more?

    • Edges Of Earth

THANH THANH Hotel, 70B Ba Thang Hai, Da Lat 670000 Vietnam. Stayed in 2 rooms from 4th to 6th August 2019. Room 303 has no hot water and Room 302 have a very pungent toilet smell. Requested for air freshener but receive no response, instead the owner came to our room and demanded that we pay VND150,000 for a slightly stained bath towel which she insist cannot be washed clean. Refusing to accept our explanation that the stain can be removed, we have no choice but to get it cleaned 100% at a nearby launderette. Instead of solving our complaints she demanded for extra payments. Warning: This hotel does not entertain complaints but instead you need to solve their complaints. Our rating: SIMPLY THE WORSE IN DA LAT.

Happy Birthday! Sorry I could (as always) not be here live.. I hope you had a great Birthday :) I did not know China has such beautiful beaches, the drone really made great videos. Btw. will you upload the FIRST part of the video to? For what videos i like most, honestly I like all of them haha. But if I had to say I like your exploring videos, like the one you did with the bike (i think combodia?). Awesome news that your parents come visiting you, thats really nice. If its the first SEA visit for them it will be a culture shock for sure. For the country i would love to visit, its Japan, but I am afraid of stepping into a plane, so I can only visit places in Europe. Would you say the people in China are more easy to talk to then the locals in Thailand? So 10 years from now we see the China videos :D? Also something interesting, you could try stream to Periscope (from twitter) there people only live stream from all over the world, maybe a good way to get new viewers. I browse also regulary Periscope and watch random people haha. So you use Instagram a lot? I only follow you on RU-clip, do I miss out on a lot? Dont have a Instagram account (yet). Stay safe, hope to see the next video soon :)

      - Hey chief! My bday was pretty mellow. Just edited and did some things around the house. Yep, it will be a huge culture shock to them...lol, I'm sure! Afraid of a plane? Wow :). Hopefully that changes. Remember, more people die from Donkey accidents each ear than plane crashes. Yes, you read that correctly lol. Uhmm, I haven't chatted with many chinese people because I am always with my friend and haven't ventured out alone, really. So I can't judge. The China series will be a bit different from the norm lol. I've never heard of Periscope. I'll have to check it out ;) Yeah, I post my stories to IG on the weekends ;) Yes, you miss out on a lot lol Thanks for your support! ๐Ÿ˜‡๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Even in super modern Japan, safety is not much of a consideration. Not just construction sites but permanent bridges everywhere with no guard rails at all and high enough to kill you from the fall. Sidewalks have these drainage channels under them and suddenly the cover blocks simply end, leaving a deep channel wide open to swallow up bicycles or pedestrians after dark. Or sidewalks without railings, bordering 8 foot dropoffs with rebar spikes protruding at the bottom. I went into an eyeglass shop to order prescription safety glasses (worked as a machinist) and the people there were astonished at my request. They had never heard of such a thing, and suggested I go to a home center and buy plastic goggles.

I absolutely agree, I travelled around in the Philippines. Stayed long time in some places. I love Pilipino people, so friendly and fun to be with. Also the kids are so humble and nice. I hope I am soon back there. Greetings from Sweden!

I enjoyed that interview! I wonder though....how can one know what kind of lifestyle one will want to live a few years down the line? Things evolve and change. Encounters happen etc. I thing these things are impossible to predict.

      - I don't, however, this is how I feel right now. It is possible that in the future my mindset will change and I will choose a completely different path ๐Ÿ˜‰. Not likely, however.

Iโ€™m Vietnamese and the children there are very positive and mostly everyone has lots of friends. They will greet you and be very friendly. In Vietnam the pots are cooked with fire so when the cooking is done, the bottom of the pot will be black and dusty. A game people play is like Rock Paper Sissor Shoe. Except you only do it two times and whoever wins the round then you get the dust on your finger and then rub it on the other persons face Keep on going until one persons face is full of black!
