Optimisation and microtransactions aside, this game just doesn't look that fun to play. I feel like I'm the only person in the world who is tired of these open world templates filled with collectibles scattered around and bland missions. I want to return to a more linear and structured franchise.

Ips nice color tn high refresh rate va best of both worlds with best viewing angels the least amount or bleeding and the deeper blacks and more gamma and bolder colors . Ive owne all 3 types and VA is my fav ips is annoying to me its supose to be the best for colors and stuff but the va panel with its deeper blacks and higher gamma might not be as accurate to the color but my god does it look so much better like when i first saw one of those vizios on display at costco sure it might not have the best color or the fastes response time but it has a better picture quality i think couse of its deeper blacks and gamma its so pretty to look at no joke and modern good va panels now a days go up to 165hz and qms response time so no need for tn anymore

Why does he just compare the FPS ? How about the 1080 TI having 3 GB more RAM than the RTX2080 Super? How about it has more Cuda Cores than the 5700 XT? How about the zotac cards of this model that have a 5 year warranty? My GTX 1080 TI still gets 60 FPS in GTAV 4K Ultra settings. More than a 1080 TI makes no sense so they invented hairworks and RTX ;D

  • antonio perez hernandez

All i see is my MSI RTX 2070 Super Gaming X Trio doing pretty well, and it even isn’t overclocked, it overclocks pretty well, and yes its more expensive but i can’t stand AMD drivers, and i think it’s worth it, on 4k the difference with the 5700 XT is much bigger.

  • Martin Palmer

Reference 5700xt + Waterblock.. better than all the AIBs & still cheaper than many including Strix. Under $80 usd buys a full cover block, a lot cheaper than the $150 many reviewers will claim is needed for a block. That said the Strix has the best PCB of all 5700s... the temps are attributable to the power draw and clock speeds. Run it at 190w instead 220w & its apples to apples.

Best value? Are you kidding me?! It retails for $770 on average in Australia so where did you see it for $730. Still too bloody expensive in my opinion. USD$400 = AUS$589. That's one hell of a markup by Aussie retailers!! You're clearly Australian so why don't you use Aussie prices? Again, this seems deceptive to me; or gives false impressions of a product's price - unless your target audience are Americans and not Aussies of course.

    • Hardware Unboxed
      Hardware Unboxed 9 hours ago

@Tarquin Farquhar I never said $720 AUD, and I didn't mention where I got the price from because I never quoted exact pricing. I said it needs to cost no more than $730 for it to be worth purchasing. I'm not sure why you're laughing out loud, almost none of our audience is familiar with the Aussie dollar, of the 3 million views we get each month, 5% are from Australia. Given the US dollar is a global currency, it makes far more sense to focus on it, rather the the Australian dollar.

    • Tarquin Farquhar
      Tarquin Farquhar 9 hours ago

@Hardware Unboxed Well, you said $720 but didn't mention where you got that price from. You also mentioned some cards being 20-30 dollars different in price. That's still not the $770 I have seen for the Gigabyte card in Australia. lol. 'Everyone.' That's rather presumptious of you to be honest. If everyone understood it (or accepted it), I wouldn't have complained about it. My calculations always start with Aussie dollars then go to U.S. - usually so I can see how much we're getting ripped off by now. But fine, if your default currency is U.S. dollars, I'll keep that in mind for your future videos and make sure my currency converter tab is open. Quibbling aside, is there a reason you, and a few other Aussie retailers tend to gravitate to Amazon all the time over, say eBay.com.au or other sites? YOu use newegg too but that's not really Aussie-based either. Is it purely for the price? Because the site itself is appalling to use, especially compared to eBay. Surely the price is good but then the freight and time wasted waiting must be obscene. During the recent Amazon Prime day sales I honestly couldn't find much on there that wasn't cheaper elsewhere. I honestly don't know why you guys make such a big deal about Amazon. It just seems a bit sh!t to me; plus very clunky and old fashioned to navigate.

    • Hardware Unboxed
      Hardware Unboxed 10 hours ago

@Tarquin Farquhar I stated the exact Aussie price and commented that it's too high, what more do you want. Anyway although we are based in Australia it's not our focus market as it only accounts for a very small portion of our traffic. Everyone understands US pricing, almost no one understands Australian pricing.

    • Tarquin Farquhar
      Tarquin Farquhar 19 hours ago

@Hardware Unboxed Regardless of your method of presenting prices for your videos (perhaps I'm just not used to your format as I've only started watching your videos recently - and my only issue is with you using so many American references such as being an Amazon fanboy and using U.S. dollars almost exclusively) I'm sure we can both agree that the exchange rate is a joke and this card retailing for $769 in Australia when the direct currency conversion puts it at $589 is total BS. Why have retailers here marked the price up so obscenely I wonder? New product? Limited stock? The 'free' game' it allegedly comes with? I'd be interested to know your opinion. :)
