@The Way We Saw It oh yeah..but we also have LCC like Indigo and Spiceshi..Oh I mean spicejet lolz..which are horrible and obviously the namesake national airline or I must say national Disgrace Air India 😂..however Vistara is different because its partially run by Singapore airlines nd Partially by Tata which is another five star brand and thats I guess why Indians and non indians alike love it...I think Ownership nd overall working environment is very important for an airline to gain peoples love and trust.

    • The Way We Saw It
The Way We Saw It 7 days ago

Thank you for watching. In Europe you usually do never get hot or cold towels in Economy. Also, food is limited to a minimum on inter European flights. Competition is high and prices need to be kept at a minimum for an airline to survive. Hence, costs too... In India we understand that the situation is very different

Both Zapopan and Tlaquepaque are interesting suburbs of Guadalajara. You could easily spend more than a week in that area. The “new friend “ is actually an old friend of ours. It’s always better to get a local friend to guide you around... ;-)

Hello guys, great video! The donkey made me cry from laugh :D I'm planning my trip to Naxos and Paros next year, so it's good to hear about some things like those boarding passes. Could you please tell me exact dates you've been to Naxos? It was not too windy as I can see, I'm planning to be there in first half of June and I'm wondering if it's very windy or not.

Guanajuato seems less pristine than San Miguel de Allende, but it looks like it has a lot more going on and stuff to do. San Miguel can get kind of boring unless you know people who live there.

    • The Way We Saw It

That is a good idea, we hope you enjoyed your bus ride. If you look at the whole of the videos, you will see that we travelled quite extensively in the area also to places that cannot be reached by bus or train. We therefore rented a car. Thank you for watching.

    • The Way We Saw It
The Way We Saw It 11 days ago

Thank you for watching. I am not sure how to get there without a car, public transport, especially in low season is not very good. But I am sure that you can reach that by foot from the centre of the city. It is a stroll but probably a nice one. You can reach the boats at the bottom of the stairs, there are signs that show you where to go.

We stayed in an Airbnb in Palermo next to the central station and it was terrible. There was rubbish, yelling and a man jet-washing the whole street at 4am. For an English man it was bizarre. The whole city was a bit too ‘rough around the edges’ for me. I come from a busy city and Palermo did not have the cool vibes I was expecting. I thought it would be like Thessaloniki or Crete. It was filthy. Not for me. The church you went to was stunning though 🤩

    • The Way We Saw It
The Way We Saw It 25 days ago

Thank you for watching. We seem to have been lucky with our accommodation, it was in a rather quiet area, although the concept of "quiet" is very different in many countries. Palermo can indeed be rough, this probably makes part of the charm felt here. We luckily found some very attractive and quiet spots in the middle of the city. Thank you for watching.

The Way We Saw It beautiful couple! I hope you enjoyed your time in Greece. Thessaloniki(named after Alexander the Great’s sister ) is somewhat of a religious center in Greece(along with mount Athos) as you could probably tell. The Byzantine Empire was essentially the Roman Empire. Historians call it nowadays that way to draw lines between it and classical Rome because the Byzantines were the Greek speaking Christian Era of the Roman Empire and they had a predominantly Greek culture. The capital was Constantinople(a city founded by the Greeks). All the giant domes you see in Istanbul(influenced from buildings such as the Hagia Sophia) as well as the Neoclassical buildings in Istiklal Avenue and many of its neighborhoods are part of the 2600 year old Greek history of the city. Since the 1950’s there are no Greeks in Istanbul but the lifestyle and architecture of the city are all part of its Greek heritage, the city being the capital of the Greek world for more than 1500 years. Also It’s not anything to write home about but Thessaloniki has some pretty decent gay nightlife too. I hope you had fun. Greetings from Athens!

    • The Way We Saw It
The Way We Saw It 25 days ago

Thank you. Yes, we felt it as gay-friendly, as of the whole country. Never encountered a problem here.

  • David Guinart
    David Guinart 27 days ago

I don't mean to be pedantic but the fact of the two Hagia Sophia don't have to do with the Turks being in Greece but exactly the other way around: with the Greeks in what would become Turkey later. Istanbul was Byzantium, the capital of the Byzantine empire, which language was Greek and whose religion was the Orthodox Christianity. Think of the fact that the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul is originally a Christian church (Hagia means saint in... Greek!)

What a great high quality video!! Big thanks! I just wish it had been of at least 30 min. I have seen several videos on Puebla from other "travelers", just they miss the point of this beautiful city every time. Puebla and Mexico City are "The other face of Mexico" destinations that are a must for travelers of some culture; mexico is incredibly rich in culture, and if you head to the beaches every time (which are beautiful, nothing wrong in going there) you may just miss an opportunity to fill up your eyes with such riches. Yo do not need to be an art expert or an history erudite to enjoy Puebla, all you need is an open hart and the sensible soul, to discover what lies beyond city plaza or the malls. By the way great videography and photographic skills. keep up the good work guys

7:20 These jambeiros ("Syzygium jambos"), though exotic, are a rather common species here in the Amazon (it really likes heat). Excellent as an ornamental tree for its exuberant flowering and controlled stature, people plant them also for shade purposes. They produce a tasty red fruit called jambo (hence the name jambeiros).

The quietest beaches in Rio are at the West Zone, Barra da Tijuca, Recreio dos Bandeirantes etc. Search for it. Remember, the quietest and cleanest point isn't always the most famous. Also, the most famous beach in Rio is hardly the quietest place to stay in town.

Hello and thank you for watching and for your kind comment. We really liked Lecce a lot, this might well be our favourite town in Puglia. Bari was nice too and Polignano was one of our favourite too. Matera, which is not in Puglia, but easily reached in the area, is a must visit too.
