the full soundtrack captures the side of the human soul then goes to a little mix with a synth that gives it that robotic feel that's, what the composer was going for .the techno mixed with the orchestra = robocop him self. whats awesome also that the director saw Robocop as American jesus in a way by getting the hero killed in he beginning of the film you cant have the resurrection unless you have the crucifixion and then the twist that robocop is turning on the people that killed him just like frankenstein myth and at the end when he was walking on the water he said im not arresting you anymore , that's American jesus. lol but awesome history about the film

I love the way the film begins and ends and how they contrast with each other. The first line of the movie, and the 2nd shot, is him explaining how he's going to revolutionize the world. Then the film ends with him dying terribly, and there's nothing more to know after that.

This hit home especially for me. My dad was a cop, medically retired in 2002 after he shattered one of his kneecaps pursuing a suspect. I never saw RoboCop until I was 17 because my mother wouldn't let me watch it. I never realized why until then, especially this scene and Murphy's execution scene. She was always afraid something like this might happen to my own father. Seeing what he lost, its heartbreaking on a much more personal level.

I always loved the Spanish musical theme in this scene. The score of Edward Scissorhands is very memorable - music lovers can pick up a lot of influences from several French composers in it - Saint-Sa毛ns, Ravel, Faur茅, and even Debussy.

1:39 Wiz: Murphy has defeated plenty of technically superior combat machines, and endured DOZENS of seemingly fatal situations. He's strong enough to lift a 10-ton armored door, tough enough to survive a bazooka, brave enough to plunge into a (questioning) giant nuclear plant monster thing and kill it from inside? Boomstick: Note to self, remember to weed garden. Wiz: And if that's not crazy enough for you, he's even rescued Sting from The Four Horsemen in WCW wrestling. Yes, this is real. How the hell did this score lose to Pocahontas? Don't get me wrong, I love Alan Menken, but I felt the 1995 Oscar season should have been James Horner's win for Best Original Score. Well, at least, he won Best Original Score for Titanic in 1997.

As bad as the second one was compared to this 1st one being a classic masterpiece insect horror movie of the 1980s. At least The Fly 2 had a happy ending with a great conclusion and that his girlfriend was able to save Seth's son into becoming human completely and had the villain become the fly completely instead. The son didn't suffer the same fate as his poor father did. Talk about sweet revenge. The man using his fathers work from The Fly 2 totally got what he deserved.
